No fare history for this route yet, so this ranking is climate and crowds only — the price column will fill in as the scanner collects.

Rain days are the days with at least 1 mm of rain, as a weather station counts them.

Weather read at the Capitole, 7 km from the airport (TLS): ten years of ERA5 and ERA5-Land reanalysis, through Open-Meteo's open data.

A busy month is a crowded one, not a bad one — usually it is crowded because the weather is good. It is flagged rather than scored down, and crowds alone never make a month “avoid”: that is reserved for weather worth skipping.

How busy it gets

Busiest from July to September; quietest in December and January.

Then and now

Toulouse's June days now average 26.9°C, 3.7°C warmer than in 1981–1990. 6 of 12 months are clearly warmer.

Getting there

How far Toulouse is, and what it costs, depends on where you set off from — the months above do not.

Before you go

Type C and E plugs at 230 / 400 V. Drives on the right. The currency is the Euro. No UK Foreign Office advice against travel. Everything for France: cost of living, languages, emergency numbers and health.

Being there

On arrival

  • Paying — Visa, Mastercard and French CB cards work in almost all shops, restaurants and hotels, and contactless is widespread. Some places post a minimum spend for cards.
  • UPI, for visitors from India — Only at a few places, through Lyra: Eiffel Tower tickets bought online and the Galeries Lafayette store on boulevard Haussmann in Paris. Bring a card for everything else.
  • Tipping — Not expected, as service is included by law; locals leave small change or a few euros for good service. Taxi tips are optional.

Getting around Toulouse

Tap a contactless bank card or phone on the Tisséo validators on the metro, trams, buses and the Téléo cable car: a trip costs €1.90 and lasts an hour, with up to four validations, and the total is charged the next day; tap again at every change. A day ticket (€7.20, until the last departures) is sold at machines in metro, tram and Téléo stations and in the Tisséo app, and bus drivers sell a €2.50 single. With tram T2 shut until the end of 2026, the Navette Aéroport runs from the airport to Matabiau station via Compans Caffarelli and Jeanne d'Arc every 15 minutes, in under 25 minutes: €9.50, paid by tapping a bank card, and valid on the whole network for 90 minutes.

  • Apps — Rides: Bolt, FreeNow, G7, Uber. Maps: Google Maps, Apple Maps. Messages: WhatsApp.

Toulouse is a big city, but the historical centre is compact, between the Garonne River and Metro B Line. You can walk to most attractions. More on Wikivoyage

Help

  • Emergency — 112 (any emergency) · police 17 · ambulance 15 · fire 18.
TravelCharika is not an emergency service: we cannot call for help or send anyone. Numbers can change; if one fails, ask someone local or your hotel.

Put together by hand from the sources listed, checked 7 October 2026. Apps, cards and rules change, so check before you rely on one.
