Each cell is that destination's own verdict for the month — sweet spot, ok or avoid — with its typical daily high, from the same ten years of climate readings its page is built from. A dot marks a busy month. The last row counts the sweet spots, and the best months are marked.

On arrival
- Apps — Maps: Google Maps. Official taxis are yellow: hail one and ask the driver to use the meter, expecting to pay extra for luggage or at night, or order one in an app, which shows the fare but usually costs more. Taxis generally take only cash.
- Paying — The currency is the Tunisian dinar, which may not be taken into or out of the country. Change money only at a bank, bureau de change, post office or your hotel. ATMs are easy to find in the cities and tourist areas, and many places there take credit cards.
- UPI, for visitors from India — Not accepted for paying here; bring a card that works abroad.
- Getting around Tunis — No metro or TGM line reaches the airport, so take a taxi into the city. For Carthage and Sidi Bou Saïd, take the TGM light railway from Tunis Marine, where it meets the metro, along the coast towards La Marsa. Tickets are priced by section and class: buy one that covers your whole ride and validate it, as riding without a valid ticket, or beyond its sections, costs a fine of 20 dinars paid on the spot (25 dinars paid later).
- Tipping — About 10% is generally expected in restaurants, left in cash so that the waiter gets it, and drivers and guides are tipped too.
- Emergency — police 197 · ambulance 190 · fire 198. In rural areas and small villages, call the National Guard on 193.
TravelCharika is not an emergency service: we cannot call for help or send anyone. Numbers can change; if one fails, ask someone local or your hotel.

Every verdict here is the destination's own: ten years of climate readings, the public holidays that crowd it, and what the flight costs. Nothing is said about Tunisia as a whole that was not first measured at each place in it.
