Plan a trip

Answer as many as you like. The places that fit come in the order our month pages rank them, from measured climate and crowds; nobody pays to be in the list.

The order is each city's own month page's (how we rank); the answers only take places out of it. "How warm" is the month's mean daily high, the bands round numbers. "Close by" is a measured road under four hours, or a flight our estimate puts under three (the great-circle distance at 820 km an hour, plus 55 minutes). "What to do" is our hiking and beach rules, a good or fair month. "What it costs there" is the country's price level from the World Bank (cheap is under 60% of the United States', moderate under 85%), not a fare: fares are paused. "Busy" is the crowd flag our month pages carry.
