Each cell is that destination's own verdict for the month — sweet spot, ok or avoid — with its typical daily high, from the same ten years of climate readings its page is built from. A dot marks a busy month. The last row counts the sweet spots, and the best months are marked.

On arrival
- Apps — Rides: Angkas, Grab, JoyRide, Move It. Maps: Google Maps. Messages: Messenger, Viber. Grab is the main app for cars and metered taxis; Angkas, JoyRide and Move It are mostly motorbike taxis.
- Paying — Cards work in malls, hotels and bigger restaurants; small shops, jeepneys and taxis mostly want cash. QR Ph codes (GCash, Maya) are common, and Alipay+ wallets usually work where GCash is taken.
- UPI, for visitors from India — Not accepted for paying here; bring a card that works abroad.
- Getting around Manila — Tap a contactless Visa or Mastercard, or a phone, at the marked gates on MRT-3 and LRT-2; elsewhere, LRT-1 included, use a Beep card or a single-journey ticket from the station.
- Tipping — Restaurants usually add a service charge, so a tip is optional. In taxis, round up or add 20–50 pesos; Grab lets you tip in the app.
- Emergency — 911 (any emergency).
TravelCharika is not an emergency service: we cannot call for help or send anyone. Numbers can change; if one fails, ask someone local or your hotel.
Put together by hand from the sources listed, checked 3 October 2026. Apps, cards and rules change, so check before you rely on one.

Every verdict here is the destination's own: ten years of climate readings, the public holidays that crowd it, and what the flight costs. Nothing is said about Philippines as a whole that was not first measured at each place in it.
